We want to walk you through each stage of the product life cycle.

THE MISSION

Globally to date, there is more than 8.3 billion tons of plastic on the planet. And once it is made—it never goes away. Only 9% of all plastic waste ever produced has been recycled. About 12% has been incinerated, while the rest — 79% —accumulates in landfills, dumps or the natural environment. Each year, a staggering 8 million tons of plastic end up in the world’s oceans.

We knew we had to take a stand. This is why our fabrics start off as non-biodegradable plastics in seas and landfills before being transformed into cloth. Our mesh is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

By repurposing waste to fabric, we aim to reduce greenhouse gases, conserve energy, and save landfill space. In turn, we minimize soil contamination along with air and water pollution.

THE PROCESS

We use Portuguese fabrics only. This allows us to reduce the environmental impact of long-distance transport.

We use water-based pigments without chemicals to print color and custom prints. We use sublimation printing since it requires minimal energy and generates absolutely zero waste.

Our fabric is OEO-TEX and Global Recycled Standard certified. This means that they are non-hazardous and free from chemicals that could be damaging to both human health and the environment.

THE PEOPLE

Our garments are entirely made in Portugal with the help of two local labs, which are led by like-minded women that share our values on sustainability. Each garment is handmade by Mira, who has specialized in lingerie making for 30 years. Mira is a master of her craft and loves what she does - and it shows! She owns her own studio, which she recently upgraded to create a cozy and fun work environment. By removing factories from the equation, we ensure that our high standards are always met and that our people are always looked after.

THE QUANTITY

We only produce small quantities of each set at a time. We will only make more if we know you want it. This allows us to avoid overproduction and minimize waste.

THE PACKAGING

Each item is personally packed and shipped to you from Miami, Florida. All of our garments are packaged in 100% recycled poly mailers.
